Your visit here is private, and your trust is honored. This page is maintained by Josiah David Wilson to explain — in plain language — what is collected, how it is used, and the care taken with it.
Only what you choose to share
When you write through the contact form, your name, email address, and message are received so a reply can be sent. When you shop, the details needed to fulfill your order — items, shipping address, contact — are recorded with the order.
If you create an account, an email address and a securely stored password are kept so your library, wishlist, and reading progress can sync across your devices. Accounts are optional.
To serve you, and nothing more
Messages from the contact form are read and replied to personally by Josiah. Order information is used only to fulfill and support your purchase. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.
Purchases handled by Shopify
The store on this site is powered by Shopify. When you check out, payment details — card numbers, billing information — are entered directly into Shopify’s secure checkout and are never stored on this site. Shopify is an established commerce platform with its own security practices and privacy policy.
Small, functional, and few
This site uses standard browser cookies and local storage to remember practical things: what’s in your cart, whether you’re signed in, your reading place, and your wishlist. Shopify uses its own cookies during checkout to keep your cart and order secure.

Optional, and yours to control
Browsing, reading samples, and shopping do not require an account. Signing in simply lets your reading progress, bookmarks, and wishlist follow you between devices. You can sign out at any time, and you may request that your account and its data be removed by writing in through the contact page.
Care with what you entrust
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Accounts are protected by industry-standard authentication, and access to backend data is limited to authorized use only. No system is perfect, but reasonable care is taken at every step.
A family-friendly place
The work on this site is written to be welcoming to families. The site is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided information, please reach out and it will be removed.
Questions, corrections, deletions
You can ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or ask for your account and data to be deleted. See the Data Requests page for the formal process, or write through the contact page and a reply will follow personally.
If anything here changes
If practices on this page meaningfully change, the page will be updated and the date below revised. There is no fine print waiting elsewhere.
